March 9, 2016 Hi. I’m Tiffany and I was born with NASCAR racing in my blood. My mom and dad worked in scoring and ticketing for the Orange Show Speedway in San Bernardino, California, as well as scoring for Riverside International Raceway, when I was growing up. I used to go to work with them on weekends and play in the scoring tower. My dad is a lifelong Dale Earnhardt fan. We went to races every weekend and I inherited my parents’ love of racing and my dad’s affinity for the Intimidator. When Dale Sr. passed I became a Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Martin Truex Jr. fan. They both raced for Dale Earnhardt Inc. at the time and I felt, as did most Dale Sr. fans at the time, that it was a way to honor the Intimidator. I’ve been a loyal Dale Jr. fan ever since. Junior has become a fun driver to watch on and off the track.
In 1998 I was fortunate enough to score a job working for a racing tour company where I organized and sold tour packages to NASCAR, Indy Car, and Formula 1 races. I traveled all over the United States, Canada, and Europe as a tour guide. The first tour I worked on was the 1998 Daytona 500 where I got to see Dale Earnhardt finally win the 500. As part of this job I worked with many racing celebrities such as Mark Martin, Rusty Wallace, and Michael Waltrip, at our companies meet and greet hospitality events. I also met numerous Indy Car and Formula One drivers. One of the best experiences was working with the late, great Buddy Baker. He used to quiz me on NASCAR trivia because he knew I was the company’s resident NASCAR fan. He always told such humorous and interesting stories. I feel so fortunate to have known him. Through that job I was able to visit ten NASCAR Sprint Cup racetracks. My goal is to go to every track. Daytona, Bristol, and Talladega are some of the most memorable and I hope to get to Darlington, Watkins Glen, and Kansas soon.
I am currently a senior at Arizona State University online pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in English and Art History. I plan on working as a literacy specialist and getting my Master’s in Library Science. I have converted many friends into rabid NASCAR fans including my husband. He is also a Dale Jr. fan. We have a son and daughter. Our is all grown up and lives on her own. Our son graduates from high school this year and will be leaving us with our house full of pets including five cats, two dogs, and a tortoise. I enjoy football and baseball as well as several other types of motor racing. Some of my other interests are reading books and comics, writing, watching movies and binging TV shows, and collecting books, sports memorabilia, and pop culture items. I’m an avid fan of the arts and try to get to live performances and museums often. My husband and I love Disney and go to Disneyland as often as possible.
